Learn how to make a delicious healthy, gluten-free, no sugar apple pancake with only a few ingredients.

If you are a fan of pancakes then this is a must-try recipe. It is so easy, quick and delicious (my 3 favorite words to describe cooking).
The recipe is for 1 serving, so do not be surprised by how many pancakes you can make with the amount of batter. You can eat all of them! Yes, all of them.
The recipe has a good amount of protein, fiber, and carbohydrates. Which is a good combination as it will keep you full for hours and give you energy.
A lot of people are afraid of carbohydrates but your body needs carbohydrates, as they are the bodies preferred source of energy.
There are other forms of energy, such as fats, but carbs are more efficient and are used to a greater extent than any other energy source. Don't be afraid to eat them, so add your oats to your pancakes.
Carbohydrates do not make you fat. As long as, you eat a heathy and balanced diet, you can eat what you want.
Anyways, back to the apple pancakes.... (I deviated from the topic but I hope you learned something new).
You can simply substitute the apple for banana but some people dislike bananas so this is a great alternative. The texture is so creamy and fluffy.
If you count calories a medium apple has about 95 calories and is a great source of fiber. It has many health benefits as it is very anti-inflammatory and helps reduce the risk of heart disease. It regulates the blood sugar levels because of the amount of fiber and it is a great fruit to support weight loss because it keeps you satisfied.
TIPS FOR MAKING APPLE PANCAKE
Do not pat down on your pancake with the spatula while it's cooking. If you do, the pancake will not be fluffy.
The apple cannot be substituted with apple sauce. If you were to use apple sauce, the consistency will not be the same and the pancake will be raw inside. It’s best to use a green or red apple.
Pair your pancakes with your favorite sugar-free maple syrup (I use the Smucker’s brand) and if you love marmalade, the pancakes go amazingly well with a berry marmalade. You could also pair it with unsweetened apple sauce!

INGREDIENTS
1/3 cup of oats
1 tsp of baking powder
1 apple
1 egg
1 egg white
Dash of cinnamon
DIRECTIONS
Peel the apple and cut in squares.
Put the cut apple in the microwave for 3 minutes or until soft.
While the apple is in the microwave, grab a blender (or a food processor) and pour the oats, eggs, baking powder and cinnamon to taste.
Pour the apples in the blender with the rest of the ingredients and blend together.
Cook in a greased pan at medium heat until golden brown. The batter does not bubble like a normal pancake batter so keep an eye on them and flip when ready. Enjoy!
